James O’Keefe smacks down critics by releasing full footage of Obamaphone fraud

Boom!

This morning, James O’Keefe and Project Veritas released a new video exposing the fraud infecting the FCC’s “Lifeline” program, aka the “Obamaphone” program, which distributes free cell phones to low-income Americans. As O’Keefe and his colleagues discovered, not only is the program a waste of taxpayers’ money, but it allows — if not encourages — widespread financial abuse among its beneficiaries:

Take a look for yourselves:

But that’s not enough for his detractors. Facts are hard, after all.

“Real journalist” Jonathan Chait tried to dismiss O’Keefe’s findings:

Media Matters’ tool Simon Maloy agreed:

Too bad Chait and his ilk are pathetic jokes:

What’s it going to take for guys like Chait to quit with the kneejerk derision and admit that yes, government programs are conducive to fraud? Earlier this year, O’Keefe slammed Mother Jones editor David Corn for suggesting that Project Veritas withholds footage. And today, just in case anyone else felt like accusing O’Keefe of dishonesty, he also released the full, unedited footage of the Lifeline sting:

Bingo. Whether or not you agree with O’Keefe’s politics, the evidence he’s presented is indisputable: Lifeline is a taxpayer-funded haven for fraud.

We can’t wait to see what’s next.
